What is Gynosexuality?

Gynosexuality (a.k.a Gynesexuality or Finsexuality) is the attraction to femininity regardless of gender or sex.

Unlike an average heterosexual person, who may care more about gender or sex incase they want to have offspring,
Gynosexual people does not care about gender or sex at all and only cares if they are feminine.
(People's perception on what is feminine can vary from person to person of course.)

Gynosexuality is NOT the attraction to females or female genitals only.

This is a VERY common misunderstanding about Gynosexuality, which stems from the prefix "Gyno-" or "Gyne-" commonly being associated with female genitals (e.g. gynecology),
aswell as the term Gynosexual's troubled past being used by Transphobes to mock Transgender people before the term was dropped by them and was reclaimed by us.
It is important to state this since it is this misunderstanding that has caused many confusion and misunderstanding about Gynosexuality.
